Reason you feel called to be an Elder at Summit: I’m noticing that God is continuing to give me talents and gifts to help me serve in ways and in areas in which I previously felt uncomfortable or without ability.  I truly feel that God is blessing me in ways that enable me to be a shepherd for his people, and I will respond to that blessing with my service.

Reason you feel called to be an Elder at Summit: I’ve always had a heart to shepherd and serve the church in any way that I can. I feel that being an Elder at Summit allows me to use the abilities that God has given me to teach others and help lead the church. I’m grateful for this opportunity and I’m excited to see how God continues to move at Summit.

Reason you feel called to be an Elder at Summit: I have always believed church members should be active in the church beyond regular attendance.  I believe serving as an elder at this important time at Summit allows me to utilize the talents God has given me at this point in my spiritual walk with Him.

Reason you feel called to be an elder: The reason I feel called to be an elder at Summit:  I believe in the mission of making disciples that make disciples. For many years I was in a ministry were we made disciples for the glory of God. That has been my passion so therefore I believe that I've been called to help serve as a leader and help lead the church in fulfilling that mission for the glory of God.

Reason you feel called to be an Elder at Summit:  God continues to shape my life to increase my role to grow His kingdom.  My heart is the same as a pastor and I believe He expects a lot from me. My gifts are teaching the Word and using wisdom to best determine His desires for us.  I am not scared of the responsibilities placed upon me, only if I fail to do them.
