The Text: Read John 14:1-14
Jesus is trying to encourage the troubled hearts of his disciples. He does so with three bombshell statements. The first of which is “I am the way the truth and the life.”
Why do the disciples have troubled hearts?
When Jesus says he must go prepare a room, what does he mean?
Why did Thomas need to see God?
What does “I AM” mean?
5. What gives Jesus the right to claim to be the way the truth and the life?
When Jesus says he is the way how do you interpret this?
How is Jesus the truth in your life?
Have you ever experienced the life that Jesus
claims to be?
4. In what way do you need Jesus to calm your troubled heart?
Jesus thank you for being the way the truth and the life. Please come and comfort our troubled
hearts. We believe that you are sufficient for all of our needs.
