How did Judas know where to find Jesus?
Why do you think the men fell backwards when Jesus said, “I AM HE”?
What do you think Peter was thinking when he pulled out his sword?
What are the main truths that we learn from the story of Jesus’ arrest?
Respond:
1. The story shows that Jesus was in complete control. What is an area in your life where you
need to be reminded of God’s complete control?
2. All of God’s promises are true. What are a few of His promises that you have clung to in the past?
3. When you think that Jesus’ arrest, trial, crucifixion, and resurrection all had to happen in order to fulfill scripture, how do you feel? What kind of faith/hope does this truth give you?? How does this truth impact the way you live your life???
