Say Yes!

Kids are only preschoolers for a moment. They're only in elementary school for a season. The time we have to influence a kid in our ministry is limited. Every phase is unique. Every phase matters. And what our volunteers do matter too. Join our SummitKids team as we embrace preschoolers and engage elementary-aged kids.

We have such a wide variety of volunteer positions that it makes finding a place to thrive through serving easy! If you have a desire to serve we can find a place within SummitKids to use your unique talents and skills. SAY YES to the future of the Church.

Click on the volunteer role for a further explanation and responsibilities: Check-in, Classroom Teacher, Coach, Communicator, Food Service, Greeter, Nursery, Security, and Theater Producer.

Email matt@summitonline.tv if you're interested in any of the above volunteer positions and he can send you a more in-depth "job description". We love clearly defining what exactly it is that we're asking of our volunteers!

We will partner with families in the discipleship of their children by providing environments, curriculum and resources that center on the gospel and teach the nature and character of God.

(Birth to Kindergarten)

Learning who we are...

We provide a warm environment with lots of exploring time, music, hugs, and smiles. Our goal is to create an environment in which they can discover that God made them, how much He loves them, and that He has something special planned for them. During this time we want them to get to know God and give them the opportunity to experience God’s love and forgiveness.

(1st to 5th Grade)

Applying what we know...

This is an ideal age to teach children about salvation. They tend to be very open to learning about God and the Bible and can comprehend the importance of salvation. They are also sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s promptings. Our goal is to lay the foundation on which they will understand what it means to “walk with God and be like Jesus”. During this time we want them to begin to build a life-long friendship and relationship with God, strong enough to withstand the trials of our world and transforming them into a disciple of Christ.

Special Needs:

If you have a child with special needs, we would love to partner with you in ministering to your child. Please email Matt Oberdick about our Buddy system for your child.

Checking in your child:

We strongly encourage you to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your desired service time. You will sign them in at the Kid's Check-In booth in the lobby. You will then walk your kid(s) to their classroom and drop them off with one of our trained Children's Ministry Leaders. If you’re visiting for the first time, one of our check-in team members will assist you. They will walk you back to your kid(s) classroom.
