You are invited to a special event created just for you and the SummitKid in your life! We are thrilled to announce that we have planned a very special day for you and your preschooler to have fun while learning more about our good, good Father. It's an event called Come to the Castle where you will: make a crown craft, take a souvenir photo at our photo booth, eat a (snack) feast, worship, and listen to a short story time
All of this fun will take place on Sunday, June 4th from 5:00-6:30PM at Summit Church. CLICK HERE to register today!
TO MAKE DISCIPLES FOR THE GLORY OF GOD.
We will partner with families in the discipleship of their children by providing environments, curriculum and resources that center on the gospel and teach the nature and character of God.
(Birth to Kindergarten)
Learning who we are...
We provide a warm environment with lots of exploring time, music, hugs, and smiles. Our goal is to create an environment in which they can discover that God made them, how much He loves them, and that He has something special planned for them. During this time we want them to get to know God and give them the opportunity to experience God’s love and forgiveness.
(1st to 5th Grade)
Applying what we know...
This is an ideal age to teach children about salvation. They tend to be very open to learning about God and the Bible and can comprehend the importance of salvation. They are also sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s promptings. Our goal is to lay the foundation on which they will understand what it means to “walk with God and be like Jesus”. During this time we want them to begin to build a life-long friendship and relationship with God, strong enough to withstand the trials of our world and transforming them into a disciple of Christ.
If you have a child with special needs, we would love to partner with you in ministering to your child. Please email Matt Oberdick about our Buddy system for your child.
Checking in your child:
We strongly encourage you to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your desired service time. You will sign them in at the Kid's Check-In booth in the lobby. You will then walk your kid(s) to their classroom and drop them off with one of our trained Children's Ministry Leaders. If you’re visiting for the first time, one of our check-in team members will assist you. They will walk you back to your kid(s) classroom.
