What Baptism is:

Water baptism is only intended for the individual who has received the saving benefits of Christ's atoning work and become His disciple. (Romans 6:3-5; Colossians 2:12). Water baptism is a visual and symbolic demonstration of a person's union with Christ in the likeness of His death and resurrection. It signifies that his former way of life has been put to death and vividly depicts a person's release from the mastery of sin.

How to Be Baptized at Summit:

The first step to being baptized at Summit is to attend our Baptism Class. Attending Baptism Class does not automatically require you to be baptized if you aren’t ready. Rather, it provides you an opportunity in a small setting to hear teaching on what baptism is/isn't, ask any questions you may have, and process through your situation with a pastor. If you were baptized as a believer prior to Summit, we don’t require you to be baptized again unless your baptism preceded conversion.
