Summit Global Missions
We believe that God has called us to go into all the world and share the Gospel of Jesus with people everywhere. We also believe that going on a short-term mission trip will radically change your perspective about life. Each year, Summit takes teams to different parts of the world to support both of these beliefs. 2025 Summit Global Mission Trips
Honduras
January 4-11, 2025
Summit Church is partnering with Bay Island Impact to take a team to Roatan Honduras in January 2025. We were able to build a home for a family who lost theirs and is living at a church. We also were able to visit other ministries on the island like Kristal’s Kupboard, a ministry that feeds local children and teaches them about Jesus; Jesus is the Solution, a drug rehab ministry; Bread for the Bight, a ministry on the east side of the island that serves a very impoverished community of adults and children. Guatemala
March 15-21, 2025
Summit Church is partnering again with Praying Pelican Missions to take a team to Guatemala over Spring Break 2025. This trip will feature many ministry opportunities like grocery distribution to various families, children’s ministry for local kids, some cleanup and organizing around the church, opportunities to share the Gospel with people and overall relationship-building with the community and the church leaders that we partnered with. This is the third year that Summit has gone to this church in Guatemala, and we are looking to make this an annual Spring Break trip for our church.
The cost of this trip is $2450. This cost covers the following:
Roundtrip airfare from OKC to Guatemala City via American
Baggage fee for one bag (roundtrip)
Trip insurance and medical insurance for the trip
Lodging for seven days/six nights
All meals while in Guatemala (except for airport meals)
Transportation while in Guatemala
Ministry supplies
Participant devotional guide
T-shirt
Recreation day at Antigua or a Volcano Hike

2024 Summit Global Mission Trips
Honduras
January 2-9, 2024
Summit Church partnered with Bay Island Impact to take a team to Roatan Honduras January 2-9, 2024. We were able to build a home for a single mom and her children (in three days). We also were able to visit other ministries on the island like Kristal’s Kupboard, a ministry that feeds local children and teaches them about Jesus; Jesus is the Solution, a drug rehab ministry; Bread for the Bight, a ministry on the east side of the island that serves a very impoverished community of adults and children. Our team of 12 had a great time and a very life-changing trip. None of us will be the same!

Nicaragua
January 20-28, 2024
Summit Church joined with a mission team of 15 that went to Nicaragua. This team did various ministry in the community of Somotillo - children’s ministry (VBS), women’s ministry, Christian radio, etc.

Honduras
July 8-15, 2024
Summit Church partnered with Bay Island Impact to take a team to Roatan Honduras in July 2024. We worked with Bread for the Bight, a ministry on the east side of the island that serves a very impoverished community of adults and children. We also worked with the community in Milton Bight, another impoverished community. We provided groceries at home visits, some medical care, and kids ministry at both communities. It was a great trip, and of course, we will go back soon!
