The Text: John 20:19-23

Discuss:

  1. Why does Jesus say, “peace be with you”?

  2. Why do you think the disciples thought Jesus was a ghost?

  3. When the disciples were able to touch Jesus they began to believe, why do you think the testimony of Mary was not sufficient for them to believe?

  4. What does Jesus mean in vs 23? Can we forgive the sins of others, or cause there to be no forgiveness?

  1. What area(s) of your life do you need Jesus to invade?

  2. When you think about the peace of God, how would you explain it to someone else?

3. How can one receive the peace of God? How do you know if someone has it?

4. Have you ever had your sins declared forgiven? How did that effect you?

God fill us all with your peace and invade the areas of our life that only you can transform.
